Elden Ring Release Date Might Be June 2020, No Information Yet
From the upcoming new RPG Elden Ring of Code, which had George R. R. Martin’s aid with its world-building, it seems that there is actually a release date, though nothing is certain yet. The release date of the Elden Ring will apparently take place in June this year, for now.
Elden Ring, although it debuted at E3 back in 2019, hasn’t got any more detail about it ever since, no gameplay, no other videos, and nothing from From Software itself. However, if the rumor about the release date is true, we may soon get all that.
Even if a release date for Elden Ring in June 2020 seems too soon, From Software itself has actually put the game up on their studio website for a June release, where they talk about Metal Wolf Chaos XD, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Elden Ring in turn.
Then again, there is also the possibility that some kind of translation error could occur, especially considering that From Software is a Japanese studio writing in English on its website. While there is no suggestion that this may be incorrect, an official announcement of a release date for Elden Ring has not yet been made.
Since it was first discovered hidden within Sekiro’s code: Shadows Die Twice at the beginning of 2019, Elden Ring has been on the minds of many From Software fans. There’s no telling how long the game has been in progress, and From Software generally launches great games, but there’s still a long time to go until June.
We might end up getting actual Elden Ring trailers and sometime in the future an official Elden Ring release date, but until then we will have to keep a close eye on From Software and see if the reports about a June release date turn out to be true.
Furthermore, if it’s real, when it ships for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Windows, you’ll be able to play Elden Ring.
